1961 18 carat gold IWC watch

Made in 18 carat yellow gold in 1961, this very elegant watch is sure to be admired each time that it is worn.

The watch case measures 35mm across plus the IWC crown, and the dial is so characteristic from the era, with what is commonly called on Omega watches, a “pie-pan” dial. This is where the dial is not flat all across, but rather as can be seen in the image, bends down at the edge. This gives the watch such a unique look, and combined with those elegant index markers and date window, which is further complimented by the traditional “International Watch Company Schaffhausen”written in that gorgeous font.

Inside it is powered by the highly regarded 21 jewelled automatic IWC calibre 8531 movement that has been serviced by our in-house watchmakers and comes with our two-year warranty.

Fitted on an elegant leather band, this will certainly be one watch that will continue to always get the admiration that it rightly deserves.
