Should I polish my Rolex watch?

In recent years the trend has been not to polish a watch. Having said this, if the polishing is done correctly, then it can be an accepted practice. The only way that a Rolex watch can be polished correctly, is not just with a polishing wheel, but a lapping wheel. This will allow not only the correct finish to the watch case, but also a finish identical to how it was when it left the Rolex factory when it was made.
