This 3/4 chiming regulator bracket clock is sensational!
Made by the German firm of Winterholder and Hofmeier in the late 1890's, it was presented as a wedding gift in 1901.
The 8-day movement chimes on the quarter, half and three quater as well as the hour and sounds beautiful. This is a wonderful clock with the further addition of being able to silence the chime and regulate the time through the front two top dials.
The very solid wooden case has such wonderful carving detail as well as having side as well as a rear door. The case alone is such a standout piece, and measures 51cm high by 33cm wide.
The clock has undergone a full restoration and runs perfectly.
It is without a doubt one of the finest clocks that we have ever had the pleasure of retailing.
A true treaure.
