Very rare! Made in 1929.
This is the earliest Rolex Oyster watch that we have ever had!
Made in 1929, and having the Glasgow import mark for 1930, this is a lovely hexagonal shaped Rolex Oyster wrist watch.
The movement is a 15 jewelled manual wind (Rolex produced the first automatic Oyster in 1931), it has been fully serviced and runs fantastic.
The case measures 31mm (left to right, and not including the screw down crown) by 33mm. The case is made from 9ct gold, and is fully signed by the Rolex company.
The dial is all original, and does show signs of its age with a few hairline cracks, but it is not a repainted dial, or replacement dial!
This is truly one for collectors of early Rolex Oysters that are becoming so increasingly hard to find today.
