Antique 15ct gold rose gold gate bracelet dating from the Edwardian era of the early 1900's. The gate bracelet along with the curb link bracelet, were the two most common and popular forms of bracelets years ago and have lasted in popularity. Traditionally fitted with a heart shaped padlock, these romantic bracelets look as beautiful today as when they were made often over 100 years ago. 15ct gold was also only used for a brief period in time from 1854 to 1931, and more often in rose gold more than yellow gold.
