The rubies set into this ring are so beautiful and vibrant and highlighted with diamonds in a ring that was made over 100 years ago results in a ring that is as beautiful today as when it was made.
Made in 18 carat yellow gold in Birmingham in 1897, the ring is set with three natural rubies that total 1.07 carats and are so beautiful in both colour and clarity. With many rubies now being lead filled or glass filled which is an unstable treatment, these rubies are all natural and look superb set into the beautiful yellow gold setting.
With two early single cut diamonds set on each side of the centre ruby, these come together to total 0.08 carats and from the top the ring measures 6.6mm wide at the centre by 15.8mm across.
With an elegant band that tapers in width as it goes to the back, this is also such a comfortable ring to wear all the time.
Perfect for any occasion including making a wonderful engagement ring, this antique ruby and diamond ring is so beautiful and will always be admired.
