Antique amethyst and pearl pendant made in the Victorian era

The combination of amethysts and pearls works so well together, as does the design in this beautiful antique pendant from the late Victorian era.

Made in 9 carat gold in the 1890's, the pendant is set with a large 10.70 carat amethyst in the centre and is delicately surrounded by thirty seed pearls that highlight the amethyst so perfectly.

Then there is the outer border of eight more amethysts and pearls, with a further amethyst and two more seed pearls suspended below to finish the charm and character of the pendant.

Measuring 30mm across by 49mm plus the bail for a chain to pass through, this is one pendant that will sit and look perfect with any outfit.
