When was the Art Deco period?
It is generally accepted that the Art Deco era was from 1920 until 1940. Having said that, there are a few publications that will say that it started at the end of World War One in 1918, and lasted until the 1950’s. However as the Art Deco movement is defined by its style, rather than the reign of a monarch, a few years one way or the other shouldn’t be the argued.
