Antique aquamarine, diamond and natural pearl necklace
$18,500.00
This is a truly spectacular and breathtaking necklace that is destined to always be admired and is sure to become a much loved and treasured family heirloom.
Made in 18 carat yellow gold and platinum by the English company Gowland Brothers in the early 1900’s, this necklace was so finely made and will make any woman walk tall with this adorning her neck. The elegance and sophistication of this necklace truly is the epitome of the Edwardian era when this was made.
Set on a 44cm platinum chain, on the top line it is set with five round aquamarines that total 1.25 carats, with the centre three having those incredible drop sections set with three pear cut aquamarines that total a further 1.85 carats. All the aquamarines have the most delicate blue which is a perfect accompaniment to the pearls and the design of this necklace.
Then there the pearls that compliment this necklace so well, however there is an important part of this to note. These pearls are all natural and not cultured. While cultured pearls are completely accepted today, there is nothing quite as special as natural pearls to add to the magnificent allure of this necklace.
Presented in its original box by Gowland Brother (Bros) Ltd, this is a truly exceptional necklace that is destined to become a much admired piece each time that it is worn.
