Antique bloodstone and carnelian spinner made in 1925
Originally worn by men on the end of an Albert chain, today antique spinners are more often than not worn by woman as a pendant where they have the distinct advantage of being able to be worn with either side showing as each is often set with two different colours such as in this sweet antique spinner here.
Made in 9 carat rose gold in Chester in 1925, one side is set with carnelian and the other with bloodstone and the spinner measures 18.1mm across by 22mm tall. This is slightly smaller than most and is so charming with such a lovely feminine look and feel to it.
Perfect to be worn on a simple chain, or back in the centre of an Albert chain being worn around the neck, this antique spinner is so versatile and easy to wear for any occasion.
