Bohemian garnets are a form of pyrope garnet that has such a rich burgundy red colour to them and look amazing when set all together such as can be seen here in this magnificent antique Bohemian garnet hinged bangle.
Made in the late 1800's in silver gilt, this bangle has the most wonderful design in the centre and then made all the more amazing with the garnets continuing all around the band.
At its widest part at the top it measures 16mm wide and tapers down to the rear to 4.4mm wide and being a hinged bangle it sits so close and elegantly on the wrist.
Fitted with a safety chain for added security, this is a wonderful piece of antique jewellery that is sure to always be admired day or night.
