Antique boomerang, emu and kangaroo brooch by Willis

$0.00

Here is a very lovely early Australian boomerang, emu and kangaroo brooch by Willis.

Willis and Sons, was first established in 1858 by Richard and Thomas Willis, who were jewellery importers and wholesalers. By the turn of the century the firm had become Australia’s leading gold jewellery manufacturer and created some very special pieces of jewellery often with a very Australian theme as can be seen here in this brooch.

There really is nothing more Australian than the boomerang, emu, kangaroo, and combine that with a map of Australia, this brooch will look divine on any outfit.

Made in 15ct yellow gold, the brooch measures 37.7mm across by 17.8mm and is in brilliant condition and very well hallmarked.

A wonderful example of early Australian jewellery at its finest.
