Stunning antique coral and diamond ring from 1893
$5,150.00
From the colour of the natural coral, the sparkle from the rose cut diamonds to the incredible scroll work on the side, there is no doubt that this ring is so incredibly beautiful and will always be admired.
Made in 18 carat gold in 1893, the ring is set with five pieces of natural coral. Whereas much of the coral today has been dyed a stronger colour, the coral in this ring is all completely natural and is the perfect colour that works so well with the gold.
Measuring 7.8mm wide at the centre by 21.2mm across, the ring is further highlighted by the two rose cut diamonds set on either side of each of the coral. Adding the right amount of sparkle, looking at the side of the ring will take your breath away.
So beautifully made by hand, this incredible detail is a testament to the quality so often found in antique jewellery and made all the more impressive that it was all done by hand over 130 years ago.
Simply stunning, this is a wonderful example of Victorian jewellery that will always be admired each and every time that it is worn.
