Antique demantoid garnet and pearl pendant from the Edwardian era.

Garnets are commonly known found and seen in a beautiful rich burgundy-red colour, however they come in a range of other colours such as orange, pink and of course as can be seen here green. The green demantoid garnets are one of the rarest gemstones in the world, and here is a lovely antique demantoid garnet and pearl pendant from the Edwardian era of the early 1900's.

Made in 15 carat gold, the design of this pendant is so elegant and can so easily be worn day or night where it will no doubt always be loved and admired. From left to right it measures 24.5mm across, and from top to bottom it measures 52mm, and the pendant is set with a pearl in the centre surrounded by the four demantoid garnets with four more pearls on the outer edge as well as one more above leading up to the top.

This is such a charming antique pendant from the Edwardian era, and one that will always look perfect for any occasion.
