Antique earrings made in the 1880’s and set with pearls

These earrings were made in 18 carat gold in the 1880’s and have such a regal look to them that will have them being admired from near of far every time that they are worn.

The design of the earrings is so attractive and give the earrings the impression of flowing as they sit perfectly on the ear. The colour of the gold has a wonderful warm tone to it that adds to the allure of them, and then each earring is set with six pearls running horizontally across the front, with an additional pearl set at the top just below the shepherd hook.

With a very elegant scroll work running vertically down the centre, the earrings measure 17.5mm across by 21.1mm to the top of the hooks, and the hooks themselves were made to safely and securely be set into a lower smaller hook at the back to prevent any chance of losing them.

These earrings are truly amazing and are destined to be the perfect pair of earrings to wear for that special occasion.
