The combination of pearls in such an elegant and feminine design, compliments the peridot that sways delicately in the centre perfectly making this such a wonderful example of Edwardian jewellery that is also so versatile on how it is worn.
Made in 15 carat gold in the early 1900's, this pendant can easily be converted to a brooch by removing the pearl set bail at the top. Once this is removed, it will sit perfectly on any outfit and can easily be reattached to be worn again as a pendant. This is such an ingenuous system that it will allow it to become two separate pieces of jewellery.
Measuring 26.4mm across by 41.8mm, with the additional detachable bail attached, it then measures 50.2mm, this is a piece of jewellery that will always be admired no matter how you choose to wear it.
