Antique fly brooch set with garnets, rubies and diamonds

Here is a whimsical and fun antique brooch depicting a fly that will no doubt always be such a wonderful conversation starter.

Made in the late Victorian era of the 1880's in 15 carat rose gold and silver, the brooch measures 4.3cm in length and will look amazing on any outfit.

Set with two large cabochon cut garnets depicting its wings, the garnets have such a wonderful rich burgundy colour that stands out so well. Highlighting the body are nine rose cut diamonds, with a further two more rose cut diamonds cheekily highlighting its bottom. With rubies for its eyes and a pearl at the front, this is a wonderful brooch that is so highly detailed and fun to match.
