Made in France around 1870, the locket measures 2.9cm wide by 3.3cm to the very top or 2.9cm for the locket and is so easy to wear.
Made in 18ct yellow gold, it also incorporates rose gold that matches so well with the central garnet.
To make this piece even more exciting, it is set with 8 natural pearls and 84 rose cut diamonds on the pendant with a further 30 rose cut diamonds on the top bail.
The reverse reveals its compartment to hold a photo and this is a spectacular antique French locket.
