Most people are aware of the rich burgundy colour that garnets are mostly seen in, however garnets come in a range of colours from green and orange, to the beautiful purple of the rhodolite garnets that are set into this ring.
Dating from the 1890's, this ring was so beautifully hand made in 18 carat yellow gold and is set with the two garnets as well as three pearls. The way it is wider at the centre then tapers down adds to the elegance of the ring which is further highlighted by the gorgeous hand engraving which not only goes down the side of the band, but is also on the side of the ring as well. This exquisite engraving on the sides will have you admiring it from every angle, and will no doubt make you so proud to wear it.
Measuring 14.3mm across by 5.7mm wide at the centre, this is a wonderful ring that can so easily be worn alongside other antique jewellery just as much as modern pieces and always fit right in.
