Antique garnet and pearl ring made in 1909
Most commonly found and known for their rich burgundy colour, garnets actually come in a range of colour including this variety of garnet, the almandine garnet, which has a delightful purple hue to it as can be seen in this very beautiful antique garnet and pearl ring.
Made in the Edwardian era in 1909 in 9 carat gold, the garnet has such a lovely colour and measures 0.50 carats and is complimented perfectly by the 14 seed pearls surrounding it.
The top of the ring measures 10.6mm by 8.6mm, making it the perfect proportions for any finger and will easily suit any finger to be worn on.
