Antique Georgian turquoise and pearl ring made in the early 1800’s

Here is a truly amazing genuine antique Georgian turquoise and pearl ring that was made in the early 1800’s and looks and feels amazing on the finger.

Incredible to think that this ring is over 200 years old, it was hand made in 18 carat gold and set with a border of natural pearls surrounding a lock of plaited hair protected under a piece of carved rock crystal. Rock crystal was often used during this time thanks to it of course being clear, but also its hardness making it very durable for a ring.

Set on each side is a row of natural turquoise that elevates this ring even further by adding some more colour to the ring as well as highlighting the exquisite hand engraving that goes down each side.

Measuring 11.6mm by 19.1mm wide, this is a truly fabulous antique ring that will always be such a wonderful conversation starter as well as always getting the attention and admiration that it so rightly deserves.
