This buckle bangle was made well over 120 years ago, yet still looks absolutely amazing on the wrist and will be admired from near or far thanks to its incredible design and exquisite hand engraving.
Made in sterling silver in Birmingham in 1886, this beautiful bangle measures 31.1mm wide across the top by 25.6mm wide at the back section without the ball details on the side. Designed as a buckle, this was a popular motif during the Victorian era, and has such a sculptural, flowing design that is gorgeous to admire from every angle. All of this has then been highlighted by the very beautiful hand engraving that highlights the bangle even further. This wonderful detail shows just how much time and attention went into making this magnificent bangle all those years ago.
Being oval and hinged will allow this to sit nice and close to the wrist and is so comfortable to wear all the time, and is a wonderful example of an antique piece of jewellery that has not only lasted all these years, but looks as elegant today as when it was made.
