The detail that can be achieved when something is hand engraved is just incredible and makes it so much more unique and individual such as in this lovely antique double sided photo locket.
Made in the late Victorian era of the 1890's in sterling silver, the locket measures 34.1mm across by 42mm or 56.6mm to the top of the bail, and makes a wonderful statement on the neck regardless of which side is being worn on the front.
The time and skill needed to engrave both sides by hand would have been immense and the designs on both sides not only look amazing, but have such a wonderful tactile feel to it.
Able to hold two photos inside, this is a wonderful example of a late Victorian locket that is perfect for any woman.
