Made in 15ct rose gold, the brooch is made with 9 horseshoes surrounding the one in the centre. Measuring 33mm in diameter, it is the perfect size to wear all the time especially to the races and is destined to be admired.
Turning the brooch over reveals locket compartment for a photo of a loved one, however making this brooch even more special is a charming engraving saying, “R.W & M.W 5th Feb 1838-1888” meaning that this was given as a 50th wedding anniversary present.
