Hand made in 18ct gold towards the end of the 19th century, this ring looks stunning from the top as well as seeing all the wonderful detail in the setting from the side.
From left to right the ring measures 9mm wide (not including the diamond set on each side) by 18mm in length and is the perfect length to wear day as well as night.
Set into the lozenge part are 15 European cut diamonds which were the forerunner to today's round modern brilliant cut diamond, and all of these diamonds were cut and facetted by hand and give a wonderful amount of sparkle to the ring.
These diamonds total 0.88 carats, and then the ring is set with a further European cut diamond on each side. These weigh 0.03 carats each and add that extra bit of sparkle to an already delightful and elegant antique ring.
