Made in the Victorian era in the 1880's in 18 carat gold, each earring measures 57.1mm by 22.5mm, and are fitted on lovely long and secure shepherd hooks.
Then there is the detail on the front of each earring that is so elegant and refined and is a true testament to the jewellers of the Victorian era. The scroll work of the gold is breathtaking and is repeated in both sections and then highlighted by the gold balls that graduate in size around the edge.
Victorian earrings are becoming harder and harder to find in good condition, and when you find a pair such as these that are still wearable all the time, then you will have a pair of earrings that will be loved and admired each time that they are worn.

Antique navette shaped earrings made in 18 carat yellow gold. These antique earrings were made in the Victorian era in the 1880's.
