Here is a late 19th century antique opal and diamond bangle by Denis Brothers that is sure to be admired every single time that it is worn.
Denis Brothers were a famous and prolific early Australian jewellers who worked from 1860 to 1910 and this bangle is a testament to the quality and craftsmanship that they produced.
Made in 15ct rose gold, the colour of the rose gold itself has such a lovely warm colour to it that looks so good against the skin.
Sitting proudly in the centre is a magnificent solid opal that is set into such an attractive design. The spectral colours from this solid opal are just spectacular and rightly deserves to sit in proudly in the centre of the bangle.
On each side of the opal, are six old cut diamonds that total 0.36 carats and highlight the bangle so well without detracting from not only the opal but the gorgeous design of the bangle as well.
At the centre where the opal is, this distance measures 18mm wide and being a hinged bangle allows it to sit close to the wrist making it very comfortable to wear all the time.
Fitted with a safety chain for extra security, this antique bangle is not only in superb condition, but made by an early Australian maker to such a high standard makes it even more special and unique and a truly lovely piece.
