Antique opal and diamond cluster ring
$0.00
This is such an attractive and elegant example of an antique opal and diamond ring from the Edwardian period that looks so good on the finger.
Made in 18ct yellow gold at the start of the 20th Century, the ring is set with a solid white Australian opal and is surrounded by 13 lovely old European cut diamonds.
It is so nice to have a solid opal and this ring has so much charm and character not only with the old cut diamonds but even the side of the ring which is delightfully patterned on both sides.
The cluster of diamonds measures 10.7mm across by 11.6mm and the diamonds total 0.39 carats.
Being claw set allows the maximum amount of light to enter both the opal and the diamonds and the band still has a somewhat contemporary look to it while having all the characteristics of a lovely genuine antique ring.
This solid opal and diamond ring is set in a style typical of the Edwardian period and would look so good day or night.
