Antique pocket watch retailed by H.E. Richardson Mudgee

Here is a great antique pocket watch retailed by H.E. Richardson Mudgee in the early 1900's with a fantastic high quality Swiss movement inside. There is nothing quite like the heft and feel of a genuine antique pocket watch in the palm of your hand and this one feels just perfect.

Measuring 50.5mm across by 70.9mm from the bottom to the top of the bow, the case is a rolled gold case which means that it has a solid layer of gold sandwiched over metal. The case is still in wonderful condition with the hinges opening to 90 degrees and in excellent condition, and the front cover is opened by pressing on the bow at the top. This will also wind the pocket watch and when pulled up, will also turn to set the hands.

The dial is also in superb condition with no cracks and is signed by the retailer H E Richardson Mudgee, and with the white enamel dial set with black Roman numerals and sub-seconds at the bottom, it looks as pristine today as when it was made over 100 years ago.

Inside the movement is absolutely gorgeous to admire and is a beautiful 17 jewelled movement made by the Swiss company The Spartan. This movement has been serviced, runs great and still comes with our twelve month warranty regardless that it is over 100 years old.
