Here we have a magnificent antique repeater carriage clock with enamel panels that dates from the 1880's and not only looks so regal, but is also in incredible condition.
Just band from a complete restoration, this antique carriage clock is spectacular from all sides. From the the front, the dial is so easy to read with the Roman numerals and is made all the more charming by the young man playing a tune for a young woman.
And then each side has another scene of a man and a woman in a dance pose adding to the romance of an already incredibly beautiful carriage clock.
Even the back of the clock showing the mechanism and the top showing the escapement is beautiful to admire and the clock measures 8cm wide by 7.2cm deep by 11cm high or 14cm to the top of the handle.
And then to mark the quality of this clock, this is a high grade repeater which means that it will strike the time on the hour and the half hour and when the button is pressed down on the top, this will strike the hour.
