Antique rose and green gold peridot necklace.

There is so much charm and character from this antique Edwardian era necklace that it is hard to find where to start.

Firstly it was made in the Edwardian era of the early 1900's and is made in 9ct rose and green gold. Rose gold has that wonderful soft warm colour about it which is always popular and sought after and looks divine against the skin, and green gold was only used for such a short period in the history of jewellery making from the late 1800's to early 1900's and has such a delightful soft green hue to it as can be seen on the "leaves" of this remarkable necklace.

The there are the 3 vibrant peridots that are all matched so well in colour and look so attractive against both the rose and green gold.

The design of this Edwardian era antique necklace is itself so pretty to admire - from the design of the centre peridot to the top peridot attached to the main chain and the splitting into 2 chains to connect to the necklace.

Laid out straight, the necklace measures 37cm in length, and from the top peridot which is connected to the necklace to the lower pear cut peridot, this measures 5.7cm in length and really stands out.

Antique jewellery is always so exciting and unique, and this antique peridot necklace with both rose and green gold all set into a magnificent and very attractive design makes it such a stunning piece of antique jewellery and one that will always be admired and loved.
