Antique rose gold locket made in 1918

Many antique lockets are marked “back and front” meaning that there is a gold plate on each side of a metal inner section, and while there is nothing wrong with these, it is so nice to get an antique locket that is solid gold such as this one here.

Made in Birmingham in 1918, this locket was made in 9 carat rose gold and measures 28.7mm across. The colour of the rose gold is so beautiful and has such a lovely warm tone to it that adds to its charm even further.

With a very elegant engraved design on both sides, inside it will hold two photos that once placed inside will make this even more special and personal to the wearer.

Still in wonderful condition even after all these years, this antique locket will always be cherished.
