Antique ruby and diamond chequerboard ring made in 1888

$6,900.00

This ring was made over 130 years ago, yet still looks as amazing on the finger today as when it was made, and will no doubt always be admired from all who see it.

Made in 18 carat yellow gold in Birmingham in 1888, the ring is set with three rows of rubies and diamonds creating an amazing chequerboard effect that certainly captures the eye.

The nine antique square shaped cushion cut rubies are all so perfectly matched in colour and total 0.63 carats, and the nine mine cut diamonds add the right amount of sparkle to the ring and total 0.54 carats.

The top of the ring measures 13.3mm across by 7.5mm and sits on top of a lovely smooth band that tapers elegantly down in width.

Made in the Victorian era, this ring will still make any woman feel like royalty when it adorns her finger, and is truly spectacular.
