Dating from the late 19th Century, this antique ruby and diamond ring sits so well on the finger and would not only suit any occasion, but would also make a very beautiful antique engagement ring to love and show off with pride.
Made in 18ct yellow gold, this ring is set with four natural rubies that have such a fantastic colour and transparency to them. Today there are so many glass filled and lead filled rubies on the market that look great however are very unstable and tend to crack, and all of them are trying to achieve the colour of these rubies that are in this ring.
In a beautiful twist to a standard ruby and diamond ring, there are two diamonds between each ruby instead of one, and of course the four rubies instead of three or five.
The rubies total 0.62 carats and the diamonds 0.18 carats and at the centre the ring measures 6.8mm wide by 16.7mm from left to right.
No matter the finger or occasion that this ring is for, there is no denying that it is so beautiful and attractive and will no doubt always be admired.
