This is such an elegant antique opal ring highlighted with rubies in a wonderful and traditional cluster style that looks so good on the finger.
Made in 18ct yellow gold in Birmingham in 1910, the ring is set with 6 solid opals with a ruby in the centre.
Solid opals have so much more strength and value than opal doublets or triplets, and the fire from these opals is just fantastic.
Between each opal are 6 more rubies creating a wonderful colour combination on the finger.
Typical of many antique rings, it is also the small detail that has gone into creating this ring by way of the band which has a triple split design making it even more attractive on the finger.
With a wonderful combination of rubies and opals in a very elegant cluster design, this is a very unique and special antique ring that will always be loved.
