Antique ruby, diamond and pearl pendant with a locket on the reverse side

Here is a spectacular antique pendant that not only looks magnificent from the front, but also has a locket compartment on the back for you to place a photo of someone or people that are close to your heart.

Made in the Victorian period of the 1870's in 15 carat gold, the pendant measures 29mm across by 62.3mm from the bottom to the top of the fancy bail. The size of this is destined to make sure that it stands out so elegantly on any outfit that it is worn with, and the lovely soft colour of the gold adds to the charm and character of a bygone era.

Set in the centre is a vibrant natural ruby that measures 0.25 carats and is highlighted in a very beautiful way with four natural pearls and twelve rose cut diamonds. With four incredibly elegant Fleur-dis-lis designs on the outside each set with more natural pearls and rose cut diamonds, these designs adds so much to the charm and character of the locket. The diamonds total 0.14 carats and capture the light so elegantly, as does the design set between each Fleur-dis-lis.

Then turning the locket over reveals a locket compartment making this so much more special that being just a pendant and once a photo is placed inside, then it becomes so much more personal.

Not only will this be admired from near or far, but it will also amaze so many when they realise that it was made 150 years ago and still looks incredible.
