Here is a very elegant antique sapphire and diamond ring that was made in 1918 and looks as beautiful and elegant today as when it was made.
Made in 18 carat gold, the design of the ring as well the way both the sapphires and diamonds are set into the band, make this not only such an attractive ring, but also so safe and secure and practical to wear all the time.
Made in Chester in 1918, there are three lovely natural sapphires that total 0.20 carats as well as two European cut diamonds that total 0.04 carats.
However it is not just the sapphires and diamonds that make this ring, it is also the beautiful and elegant design of the ring itself that sets the stones into the lozenge shaped setting, as well as the elegant claw work supporting this on the side of the ring.
The top of the ring measures 7.6mm wide at the centre by 14.2mm across and sits perfectly on the finger where it can be worn all the time and always look and feel so comfortable on the hand.
Still in wonderful condition even after more than 100 years have gone by, this is a lovely example of a beautiful antique ring that is perfect for any occasion.
