Antique sapphire, ruby and diamond brooch from 1898

What wonderful colours are in this antique brooch from the late Victorian era that will certainly stand out and look so elegant on any outfit.

Made in Birmingham in 1898, this brooch was made in 15ct gold which was used up until 1931.
Set with seven Ceylonese sapphires which all have a magnificent blue colour to them, they total 0.36 carats and are highlighted with two vibrant red Burmese rubies that total 0.08 carats.
Adding to the sparkle of this brooch, there are 6 old European cut diamonds that total 0.21 carats and sparkle magnificently day or night.

The brooch measures 40.6mm across by 12.9mm and is fitted on the back with a safety chain for extra security.

This is such an attractive antique brooch from the Victorian era that looks so refined and elegant.
