Made in sterling silver in the late Victorian era of the 1890's ,the brooch measures 42.6mm across by 57.1mm, and on each side as well as the top and bottom it is set with a lovely grey agate that compliments the silver so well.
And the silver itself is so beautiful to admire with the exquisite hand engraving which shows just how much attention to detail that went into making this brooch all those years ago.
This is a wonderful example of Scottish jewellery, and one that will always be admired.
