Antique silver and gold collar made in 1884

$3,500.00

Going as far back as ancient Egyptian times, and as popular as ever, collars make a wonderful statement and are perfect to wear day or night.

More often than not, antique collars are not hallmarked which is common, however this one has been hallmarked for being made in Birmingham in 1884.

Made in sterling silver, it is wonderfully highlighted with here is a wonderful antique sterling silver collar dating from the late Victorian era of the 1890’s that is not only highlighted with not just rose gold but also the rarer green gold. Made with a floral design, the colours of the gold work perfectly to highlight the flower in rose as well as the leaves in the green gold. This is such an attractive design, and one that will be admired from near or far.

With the links measuring 1.2cm wide, from end to end it measures 45cm and is fitted with a bolt ring that can be placed at the back of the neck, or used to hold a locket or medal giving this collar a new look.

Perfect for the day and even more perfect for the evening, there is no doubt that this is a truly magnificent and elegant antique collar from the beautiful and romantic Victorian era.
