Antique sterling silver buckle bangle made in 1884

This antique bangle was made in 1884 and showcases the quality of the jewellers during the Victorian period who could make something not only as beautiful as this, but something that could also last well over 130 years and still look and feel amazing on the wrist.

Made in sterling silver, the bangle was designed as a buckle which was a popular motif during this era. Measuring 25.6mm wide, the top of the bangle not only has the buckle design, but is also so beautifully hand engraved. Hand engraving is always so much more unique and beautiful as machine engraving and once again showcases the quality and craftsmanship that went into making this bangle all those years ago.

Fitted with a safety chain for added security, being oval in shape allows for it to sit nice and close to the wrist and is comfortable enough to wear all the time from the day and well into the evening.

A very elegant and beautiful bangle that will always be admired.
