Antique sterling silver carnelian and bloodstone spinner made in 1889
$450.00
Originally spinners or swivels as they are also known as, were worn by men on the end of an Albert chain, however today they are more often worn by woman as a pendant where they have the distinct advantage of being able to be worn with either side showing as each is often set with two different colours such as in this one here.
Made in 1889 in sterling silver, on one side it is set with carnelian and the other bloodstone. Having two distinct colours will allow it to be so versatile depending on what you are wearing and measuring 24mm across makes it the perfect size to wear on a fine silver chain, or a lovely wide antique collar and always look perfect.
As beautiful today as when it was made, this antique spinner will be perfect for all occasions.
