Here is a great antique fusee movement pocket watch made in 1839.
This pocket watch has been serviced and still runs even after all these years - a testament to the watchmakers years ago.
Fitted in a sterling silver case hallmarked for London 1839, it measures 45mm across.
The pocket watch is fitted with the original flat topped glass, meaning that it can lay flat of the glass to make winding easier. It does have a small fracture on one end, however for its age we wish to keep it as original as possible.
The balance cock is engraved with the face of Chronos (or also called the Masque of Chronos) a feature of a few 19th Century pocket watches.
This is a great key wind and key set pocket watch that will be treasured by any collector.
