Antique triple slide necklace with an amethyst and opal

Here is an incredibly beautiful and rare antique triple slide necklace with an amethyst and opal that is made of the most beautiful chain link and has the most incredible reversible slide.

Dating from the 1890's and made in 15ct gold, the lozenge shaped slide section is set on one side with an amethyst and the other side with a solid Australian opal making this feature alone so special and unique. The way you can display one side or the other really makes this such a versatile piece of jewellery and such a talking point.

This lozenge section measures 18.4mm by 15.2mm and has the most wonderful design that is just captivating and shows the attention to detail that went into making this section.

Then there is the triple gold links that itself is just so beautiful. The link design alone is so elegant and refined and has such a wonderful tactile feel through your fingers and laid out from end to end measures 44cm in length making it perfect to wear day or night.

No matter which side is worn, this is such an incredible, beautiful and unique antique collar that will always be loved and admired.
