Made in 15ct gold in the late Victorian era of 1890's, it is made with a buckle motif, and the entire ring is entwined with hair.
Very few mourning rings have the hair going all the way around, and even fewer have been well looked after such as this one.
Mourning rings always have that something special about them, and this one is no exception.
