Art Deco diamond engagement ring set with mine cut diamonds
There is nothing quite like an engagement ring on your finger, and nothing more special than one hand made over 100 years ago and still as beautiful and elegant today as when it was made such as this one here.
Hand made during the glorious Art Deco period of the 1920’s in 18 carat yellow gold and platinum, the ring is set with five antique mine cut diamonds that graduate in size so elegantly. The mine cut diamond is the earliest form of the round brilliant cut diamond that is seen today and goes as far back as the 18th century. There is something magical about diamonds that were cut by hand and carefully placed into a ring that was entirely made by hand during a wonderful era such as the Art Deco period.
The diamond in the centre measures 0.50 carats, and the graduate down with the other four having a total weight of 0.71 carats and in the centre the ring measures 5.4mm wide by 19.5mm across and sits so well on the finger.
This Art Deco diamond engagement ring looks and feels as beautiful today as when it was made and will make any woman proud to own and wear it.
