Art Deco jewellery from the 1920's has never gone out of fashion or style, and when this is placed around your neck, it will be so easy to see why.
This breathtaking necklace was handmade in 15 carat gold and platinum in the 1920's and was made in a style that is as fashionable today as when it was made 100 years ago. The style and designs of Art Deco jewellery is one era that has never gone out of fashion, and this necklace shows just why.
With an elegant drop that measures 5cm in length, at the top is a 0.25 carat European cut diamond that leads to a single cut diamond that leads so beautifully to two single cut diamonds that total 0.05 carats and one early brilliant cut diamond that is set on top of the other early brilliant cut diamond in that very lovely setting. These two diamonds total 0.76 carats, and all of these diamonds come together to highlight the elegant design that will sit perfectly on the neckline.
Measuring 40cm in length, this is such a beautiful example of Art Deco jewellery, and will no doubt always be admired each time that it is worn.

Art Deco diamond necklace from the 1920's
Art Deco diamond necklace from the 1920's made in 15 carat gold and platinum. This Art Deco diamond necklace is set with five diamonds in a very elegant setting typical of the Art Deco period.
Broadly speaking the Art Deco era was from 1920 until 1940. There will be some people and publications that may state that it started after World War I in 1918, and lasted until 1950, but as there was no reigning monarch to dictate an actual start-finish time such as the Victorian era, the general concusses is from the 1920's through to the 1940's.
