There is something so captivating about a fine quality emerald, and combine this with a ring that was made during the wonderful Art Deco period of the 1920's and the result is this fabulous ring seen here.
Entirely hand made in platinum, sitting proud in the centre is a magnificent natural emerald that measures 1.64 carats and not only has such a beautiful green colour to it, but truly exceptional clarity that allows you to see right through the stone. Whereas many modern emeralds that are coming onto the market are too dark or cloudy to see right through the emerald, this one has such a wonderful transparency to see all the way to the back of the stone that allows so much light to enter and dance through the emerald.
Then there are the two larger European cut diamonds as well as the sixteen smaller European cut diamonds that are set into the ring that all come together to total 0.57 carats. The wonderful angular design of the setting into which the diamonds are set has the gorgeous characteristic that is so typical and sought after in Art Deco jewellery.
Measuring 17.5mm across by 14.9mm, this ring sits so well on the finger and certainly makes a statement.
Art Deco rings have always remained so popular, and when viewing this ring, it is so easy to see why.
