The jewellery that was created during the Art Deco period of the 1920's looks as good today as it did when they were created all those years ago and here is a very attractive 1920's era Art Deco sapphire and diamond ring.
All hand made in 18ct yellow gold and platinum, the ring is set with an oval facetted blue sapphire surrounded by 12 diamonds.
Like many Art Deco rings, it wasn't just a matter of setting the diamonds around the sapphire, rather it was also the fantastic design as can be seen from the top of the ring.
The sapphire measures 0.95 carats and the the diamonds total 0.12 carats and from left to right the ring measures 9.7mm across by 13.3mm from top to bottom.
Art Deco rings always seem to be perfect for any occasion and htis would also make a wonderful example of an Art Deco sapphire and diamond ring.
There is nothing quite like a genuine Art Deco ring adorning your finger and this is a wonderful example of Art Deco jewellery with its design and combination of both 18ct gold and platinum.
