This brooch is so beautiful from the spectral colours given off from the opal doublet in the centre, to the stunning design that was made in rose and yellow gold.
Dating from the 1930’s, the opal doublet in the centre shows such strong colours from red to blue and is sure to capture the eye day or night. Set into a setting that measures 6.7cm across, the setting was made in 9 carat rose and yellow gold with the use of the two different colours of gold, really accentuating the opal as well as the design itself.
Perfect for day or night, this is a wonderful brooch for all occasions.
